The Baltimore Ravens sent shockwaves across the league after they traded for EDGE Maxx Crosby and then failed his phyiscal which in result voided the trade. The reason it is shocking is because of the timing. The next day they suspiciously inked FA EDGE Trey Hendrickson to a 4 year deal worth $120 million. This is bad business as the Ravens knew that Crosby who had surgery recently, wouldn’t be ready for football activity until training camp. It is widely believed that they did this because they realized they could land Hendrickson without giving up 2 first round picks in return.
This hurts the Indianapolis Colts the most as they were considered the front-runners and about to land Hendrickson until the Ravens swooped in and offered more money. Now, there are many teams and agents across the league who have decided not to do any future deals with the Ravens again. The league should investigate this and punish Baltimore accordingly!
